SPRING HAS SPRUNG AND BY THE WAY I'M COMING BACK AS A CAT!

This is our cat "Pusscat". For some reason the
last week, he has been pushing my display
of teapots aside and sleeping on top of the
cupboard. I think it is a cats life, and if I have
a choice I think I might come back as a cat.

He has certainly made himself at home hasn't he.

Spring is my favourite time of the year.
These are my winter roses out in flower.

Any my azalea called "Little Girl". A friend gave
it to me when I had my last daughter because she
was a little girl at birth -- only 1.606 kg.

And the blossom trees out and about at this
time of the year are beautiful.

These are my little petticote daffodils that
just keep coming up every year. I love them.

And I love daffodils full stop, so I have lots
of them in my garden.

CAFE CONNOISSEUR TOTE

This the latest pattern that I have released.
The outside pockets are done using the fun
technique of fabric weaving. This technique
gives the fabric a whole new look, and it is
fun to do and can be use for so many different
projects.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT IRREWILLIPE

This Friday Night I am looking forward to
going out to Irrewillipe and spending the
night with the craft group that meet out
there. They have invited me out to do
my Friday Night Quilt with them, and they
always have lots of fun on these nights.
Next May, when they have their Cuppa For
Cancer morning tea there should be lots of
these quilts on display, and they will all look
different. I made mine using the Bistro range of
fabrics, because I had to have a piece of everything and this was a way of using them all in one project.

BUSY TIMES

The weekend was very busy with our
eldest having his 21st on. Lots of fun,
laughter and family from all over
N.S.W coming down to the cold
western district to help Toby
celebrate.

Now we are up to Wednesday, and
I have got myself back to some fabric,
the sewing machine and getting the
brain out of the kitchen and into
some designing again.
This is a sneak preview of a quilt
I am putting together for a beginners
class at McMahons in Colac.
Keep your eyes posted for the end
result. The pattern will be available after the class has been taught.

COUNTRY THREADS, VOL.11 No.1

This is my very first design "IN MY GARDEN". Grab yourself a copy of Country Threads Volume 11 No. 1.

You will even see that it has been photographed on the front cover.

Very exciting (for me anyway!)

GARDEN TIME

I decided that it was definately time to get out into my jungle last weekend and try and clean it up. This is how it looked when I started. Yes, it is a bit of a mess isn't it. Too busy doing too many other things.

But, after a few of these, I could start to
see where I had been.

And this is what it looked like after just
a couple of hours. Yes, I still have a few
of the roses to prune, but that will be this
weekend, all being well.
