A COLD AND FOGGY START TO THE DAY....

My it is a cold morning down here at Beeac this morning.

I was about to head out to help feed the calves when I heard it was 0 degrees. Lucky the chooks have got a good chook house to keep them warm.

So, as I flew out the back door I made sure that I grabbed my hat and put it on to keep the cold off my ears.

The nice thing about foggy starts to the morning is that it usually is a nice day to follow. At least the fingers have thawed out by now.

MY PATTERNS ARE OFF TO NEW ZEALAND....

On Saturday morning when I opened my e-mails, I had a delightful e-mail from a lovely lady by the name of Ngaire, who is the owner of The Crafty Needle in Manukau (Auckland) in New Zealand. One of her customers had come into her shop with Creative Country Threads Vol. 11 No. 11 with my Dinner Party Pattern in it.

So, as a result of this, Ngaire is going to be stocking some of my patterns, so if you are in Auckland and you are after any of my patterns, pop in and see Ngaire.

BACK ON THE HAND QUILTING

Yes, that quilt that I was hand quilting way back in January or February, can't remember when, had been put aside for a while, but I have it out again, and it is going to be finished before anything else gets started. Oh, that is besides my daughter's ball dress that I have to have made by the 5th August. Help, we have the fabric, and the shoes, but cannot find a pattern that she likes. She knows what she wants, but we cannot find a pattern. I am about to start going through my mountains of dress patterns to see if I can find a couple of patterns to put something together. Wish me luck.

GIFT TAGS FOR YOUR STITCHING FRIENDS....

Oh la la, I just got these new stamps. Lovely stitching ones, and I had fun making some gift tags for using for gifts for your stitching friends. So much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MORE CARDS..............

I have been busy getting some more cards made. This is my Briar Rose design. They are so fun to do with adding colour after the stamps have been stamped onto the cardstock. I just love using the vanilla card stock.

And these are my elegant lady cards. Could not resist this stamp, it is not a Stampin' Up stamp, but one I just had to have.
