Yesterday my friend Heather and I took a drive to Geelong and then took the train to Melbourne to catch up with friends that we had not seen for 17 years. We only had time for a quick lunch as I had to be back in Colac to work at 16.30 so we actually spent more time getting there and back, but that didn't matter, as it was so nice to catch up again and we covered a lot of ground in a short time (that is if you could listen to all four of us at once!!!!)
Before we knew it, it was time to board the train and come on home, and we realised that there had been no photos taken, so kindly Phil took this photo of the three of us girls. The lovely Annette from Patchwork Haven in Mount Hutton is on the left, she wasn't going to jump on the train for a photo just incase it took off (and then Phil would have still had my camera, but Annette would have been with us), Heather in the centre and myself on the right.
Next time we will not leave it 17 years to catch up, and we will spend longer together.
