ITS BEEN A WHILE

A weekend away with the cousins (and a sister) can be oh, so much fun, especially when it is to celebrate an "O" birthday (of one of the cousins husbands). Any excuse for a party, and why not because we do have a lot of fun. That's me in the green, my sister is in the orange and the other two are cousins. One is a double cousin, can you guess which one that is?
We stayed at Soldiers Point for the weekend (just north of Newcastle, for those of you who don't know), and these beautiful palm trees were right outside our accommodation.

And, this was the beautiful view on the Saturday night. As you can see, the weather was a bit stormy but it probably enhanced the view.

This view was not hard to take at all, looking straight out our window.

Then, around to Nelson Bay for lunch on Saturday, and brunch on Monday. Isn't this a spectacular view. Yes, we did have a lovely weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo to show you, but we went to Murray Bridge Brewery on the Sunday for tasting and lunch, and the Salt and Pepper Squid was magnificent, and I might say their wine wasn't bad, and their beer was pretty good too, even though I am not a real beer drinker anymore. Would definately recommend a visit to you if you are ever in the area.
